See Differently: Visionary Organizing for Nonprofit Leaders is a four week training that supports nonprofit leaders develop a greater focus on what’s possible by developing skills to equally emphasize their material and non-material needs, reclaim the importance of imagination and dreams, and lead from a place of imagination and dreams. By engaging participants with media on history, processes to see how oppressive systems lead people away from imagination and how to reconnect to it, VOL teacher-facilitators root participants in Visionary Organizing and help them see potential and possibility differently, even under difficult conditions. Leaders will learn to create new cultural possibilities and sustain their organizations by leading in ways that are equally rooted in their personal non-material needs for reconnecting with purpose, values, and dreams and their organization's material need for fiscal health and sustainability.

    • Individuals/leaders from various non-profits who want to do different work (shift mission/culture/etc) and want to learn to navigate the stakeholder landscape (funders/stakeholders) differently

    • Nonprofit leaders who want to reconnect w/ ancestral practices (giving framework to do this)

    • Nonprofit leaders who want to explore how to be more heart-driven

    • Nonprofit leaders who want a greater sense of what’s possible

    • Reconnection to lost ways of doing things that align with our inner wisdom

    • Courage and commitment to imagine new possibilities and skills to practice executing them.

    • Reconnection to the spirit of the work’s purpose.

    • Knowledge of when you sacrifice imagination and possibility to meet material needs and a roadmap to do things differently

    • Skills that support leading from a place of vision, possibility, and visionary solutions
