Politic Differently: Visionary Organizing and Political Strategy is an exploration of Visionary Organizing and its relationship to other ways of organizing for social, community, economic, and political change. The assumptions of protest politics, electoral organizing, and visionary organizing are all rooted in different forms of power and embody strategies that can contradict with each other. This training teaches people to recognize these multiple forms/practices of power in generative relationships to each other rather than in competitive relationship. Teams will be able to more effectively organize multiple (and sometimes conflicting) groups within a community who might have different assumptions and different approaches to change.
